The Soltech Energy group part of new roof and solar energy projects for Stockholmshem with an order value of SEK 3.8 million
Now, five apartment buildings on Södermalm will get new roof material with a complete solar energy system installed on top. Soltech Energy's subsidiaries, NP Gruppen and Measol, will jointly carry out the project for Stockholmshem AB. The project has a total order value of approximately SEK 3.8 million and is expected to be completed by the end of November.
Soltech's subsidiaries have a vast experience of green energy solutions and roofing. The companies NP Gruppen and Measol have now signed an agreement with Stockholm's largest housing company, Stockholmshem. The agreement cover installation of a solar energy system as well as new roof material for a sustainable solution.
The ambition for Stockholmshem is to invest in more solar energy. The company has an aim that ten percent of their electricity consumption will come from solar power in 2040, that is in line with the City of Stockholm's goal and Sweden's overall climate ambitions. Now, five of the apartment buildings on Södermalm, in Stockholm, will be able to use the sunrays for the electricity supply.
– It feels great that we have now signed an agreement on both roofing and solar energy. Not least when we get to carry out this project with our sister company Measol. Stockholmshem is an exciting real estate partner that actively invests in solar energy solutions, which this solar installation is a fantastic proof of, says Marcus Juhlin, Solar Energy Manager at NP Gruppen.
