Soltech Energy's subsidiary, Swede Energy, has signed an agreement for what will be the Nordic region's largest roof-placed solar cell facility, both in terms of area and capacity. The facility will be installed at InfraHub's logistics property in Norrk\u00f6ping. In total, the new installation will measure 65,000 sqm and with an output of as much as 6.5 MWp, it will be the largest in both Sweden and the Nordic countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In 2020, Swede Energy built the Nordic region's largest solar cell facility, at that time, on a roof for Castellum in Gothenburg at 3.7 MWp, a solar power installation that this year won the Swedish Solar Energy's \u201cFacility of the Year\u201d award. The now planned installation, which will be approximately twice as large, will be built on a logistics property in Norrk\u00f6ping, built by Infrahubs, and also owned by Catella with fifty percent. Completed in 2022, the facility will be the Nordic region's largest on a roof, both in terms of area and installed capacity. The total area filled with solarpanels is the size of 12 full-size football fields.<\/p>\n

Successful collaboration<\/strong>
Earlier this year, Swede Energy received an order from Infrahubs to build a solarpower solution on one of the company's properties in \u00d6rebro, where Matsmart is the tenant. Now they will further increase the collaboration.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To be able to build another facility with Infrahubs is very honorable for Swede Energy and to also be get the opportunity to build what will be the Nordic region's largest roof-mounted solarpower facility is of course a sign of strength and trust that we are proud of. Facilities like this really make a difference in the green transition and we are pleased to once again increase the share of solar energy in Sweden together with InfraHubs, says Christoffer Caesar, CEO of Swede Energy.<\/strong><\/p>\n
