Soltech Energy's subsidiaries, Merasol and Takorama, will now replace the roof and install solar power on four residential buildings in Gothenburg. The solar power installations will cover an area of \u200b\u200bclose to 2,700 square meters and will be carried out for the real estate company Willhem.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Soltech's subsidiaries Takorama and Merasol will together now change roofs and install solar power on four residential buildings in Gr\u00e5bo, Gothenburg. The assignment is carried out for the real estate company Willhem and the whole reconstruction of the facility and installations are expected to be completed by the end of the year. The solar energy facility is expected to produce approximately 130,000 kWh annually, which corresponds to approximately 30 percent of the property\u2019s total electricity consumption.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Thousands of square meters of solar energy-and remodeled roofs. This project shows the strength of the Soltech Group when we combine several different companies' competencies in one assignment. Willhem is demonstrably investing in sustainability, and it is very positive for us to let the sun shine even more over Gr\u00e5bo, says Stefan Jennefalk, Sales manager at Merasol.<\/strong><\/p>\n

New waterproofing layers on the roof and solar panels<\/strong>
The four residential buildings will not only have solar cells, but also new roofs and waterproofing layers. Soltech's subsidiary Takorama is responsible for the roof reconstruction.<\/p>\n

\u2013 It is very with great proudness Takorama is part of this project. We specialize in products on flat, low-sloping roofs with a long durability and high service standard and roofs that then get solar cells on top of them are of course extra fun. Doing this together with our sister company also feels great, says Micke Norrby, CEO of Takorama.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 Willhem as a real estate company has a large responsibility in managing our resources in the best possible way, and green renewable energy solutions that minimize our environmental impact is a hygiene factor. The solar energy plant will both reduce our total climate impact, but also ensure that our tenants can live in environmentally friendly properties, says Mikael Sk\u00f6ld, Project Manager at Willhem.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
